Airbnb, VRBO, and Expedia are useful for finding a place. They are an expensive way to actually book one.
Those sites advertise the lowest price, then add a service fee at checkout that commonly runs anywhere from 5% to more than 20% of your total. On a long weekend in a lodge, that is not a rounding error. It is hundreds of dollars that goes to a booking platform instead of your trip.
We publish our best rate here. There is no scenario where booking Cedar Grove through a third party costs you less than booking it on this page, and in most cases it costs meaningfully more.

Cedar Grove is a whole property: eight units spread across 65 wooded acres, with a fishing pond, private trails, fire pits at every cabin, and The Haven event venue on the same land. That is what makes it work for a couple who wants nobody around, and equally for a reunion of eighty-five people who want to be together without being on top of each other.
And the location is the part you cannot build. Old Man's Cave is half a mile up the road, which means you are at the trailhead in the morning quiet, before the day traffic arrives from Columbus.
