What is included in the price of the venue?
Included in the price of the rental is the use of the Lodge, which included climate control, ADA compliant Bathrooms, Full use of Bridal Suite, gas fire-pit, the use of the two patios off the Lodge (one covered and one uncovered), use of the catering kitchen by Cedar Grove approved licensed caterers, tables and chairs, buffet tables, cake table and welcome/gift table.
Linens are not provided as part of the DIY venue rental fee, but are included in various Cedar Grove packages. You may provide your own linens or we can assist with Linen rentals. Some caterers also have their own or provide linens/napkins to use for dinner service.
For the safety of your guests, all food must be provided by licensed and insured caterers that are approved by Cedar Grove. We have an extensive list of preferred caterers and our Cedar Grove staff is also licensed to serve food (at an additional fee) that has been prepared off-site.
We provide a fully licensed bar that can include wine, draft and canned beer, and liquor. The serving of shots is not permitted within the Event Lodge. All alcoholic beverages consumed in the Event Lodge area must be purchased from Cedar Grove. By law, no outside alcohol may be brought into a licensed facility.
Setup (tables, chairs, linens, decorations):
For setup we provide the beginning phase of the Event Lodge. We set up based on the floorplan agreed upon before arrival. If you rent table linens through us, we will set up linens as well. Setting up decorations, centerpieces, tableware, napkins, etc.. are not included in our DIY package, but may be included in various Cedar Grove packages.
Cleanup and Teardown
Teardown of decorations will need to be addressed during your rental period. Cleanup of food preparation kitchen and associated food services is the responsibility of your chosen caterer or is done by Cedar Grove staff if we are performing food-serving services.
We have separate men’s and women’s ADA compliant indoor restrooms.
Room for bride/groom to get ready
We have a suite complete with mirrors and seating for make-up, hair, etc.. inside our Event Lodge. We also have various sized cabins that are available for rent that most groups use for additional space to get ready.

What type of prep area do you have for us to use? What appliances would be at our disposal?
Our Event Lodge includes a kitchen with a commercial fridge, warmer, sinks, tables, etc.. for use by your licensed caterer only during your rental period.
Do you have any decorations that we could borrow?
We do have some decorations available for your use and our inventory is constantly growing.
What are your requirements for the bartender we use? Are any certifications required?
Since we are a licensed facility all bartender services are provided by Cedar Grove staff.
Are there any other “hidden fees” like a service fee, tax, returnable damage deposit, etc..?
All fees associated with rental, services, and taxes are detailed in our contract and quotations.
